It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elder Etrulia Smith Skelton of Pendleton, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Lonnie Ellihue Skelton, Jr.; her parents, Lester Smith and Ella Lee Burriss Smith; her siblings, Lester Smith, Wallace Smith, Howard Smith, Clarence Smith, Alvin Smith, Robert "Bobby" Smith, Ernest O'Neal Smith, Beatrice Paul, Helen Martin and Ella Mattison; and her grandson Maurauder Mahdi.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Ray Skelton (Tracy) of Columbia, SC, Johnnie Ray Skelton (Charlene) of Rock Hill, SC, Doris Ann Mahdi of Anderson, SC, Judy G. Skelton of Anderson, SC, Ella V. Floyd of Charlotte, NC, Jacqueline Brock and Rev. Tabitha Johnson (Stanley) of Anderson, SC; her siblings, Marion Smith of Iva, SC, Parnease Thompson of Anderson, SC and Brenda Richardson (Leo) of Iva, SC; and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Smith, Floyd Paul and Melvin Mattison. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren.
