He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford G. Wardlaw and Amanda Cobb Wardlaw; his daughter Angie LuRay Wardlaw James; and his siblings, Lucille Wardlaw and Willie "Bill" Wardlaw.
He is survived by: his daughter Krystel Morris (Michael) of Anderson; his grandchildren, Jamie Morris Rodgers (James) of Kingsland, GA and Jordan Morris Hewitt (Ryan) of Greenwood, SC; his great grandchildren, Easton James Rodgers, Keelyn Raye Hewitt, Beau Jameson Rodgers and Luke James Rodgers; his son-in-law Richard James of Anderson; and his brother Jim Wardlaw (Becky).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ray's memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
