He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dorris and Etta Lou Seigler Davis; his sister Doris; and his brother-in-law Eddie Motte. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Burton Davis; his children, Lynn Davis Turner (Jim) of Belton, April Davis Green (Chet) of Belton and J. P. Davis (Ashley) of Pelzer; his siblings, Jim Davis (Brenda), Richard Davis (Tommie) and Connie Snipes of Williamston; and his granddaughters, Crystal Green of Anderson and Tabbi Hanner of Piedmont.
