He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William and Grace Henderson Owens; his daughter Sharon Delores Owens-Wright; his sisters, Lavinia Wood and Dorothy Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Betty Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Owens (Stacey) of Fort Worth, TX, Deborah Anne Owens of Fort Worth, TX, Tommy Owens of Pelzer and Carl Owens (Amy) of Pickens; his brothers, Robert Owens of Piedmont and Barney Owens (Betty) of Pelzer; his grandchildren, Stephanie Gandolfo, Macie, Madison Owens, Raegan Carl (Joey), Jacob, Caleb, Amelia, Asher and Andrew Owens; and his great grandchild Phoenix Gandolfo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
