With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomasine Price of Pelzer, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Alvin Price, Sr.; her parents, Henry Thomas "Shorty" and Margaret Alice Metts Shumaker; her grandson Kristopher Stewart Kirby; and her sisters, Edith Bates and Joyce Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Rosemary Drusilla Hammond of Donalds, Hugh Alvin Price, Jr. of Pelzer, Jasper Quintin Price of Marysville, PA, Joseph Thomas Price of Simpsonville and Cora Tina Kirby of Travelers Rest; and her sisters, Agnes S. Romatzick of Sumter, Anne DeLong of Sumter, Faye Newman of Sumter and Doris Ashworth of Winnsboro. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
