It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Simpson (Pelzer, South Carolina), born in Honea Path, South Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James B. Simpson; her parents, Richard L. Blythe and Beatrice Gilmer Blythe; and her siblings, Talmadge, Arvon Blythe and Violet Stone.
She is survived by: her children, James David Simpson of Pelzer, Tommy B. Simpson (Deanna) of Pelzer, Terrie Barbare (Jamie) of Pelzer and Susan Hudson (Ray) of Williamston. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
