She was predeceased by: her husband David Horace Dickerson; her parents, Flemon Talley and Martha Jane Thurston Owens; and her children, Myrtle Jean Milton and Elton Aubrey Milton, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Milton Warren and David Vernon Milton of Pelzer. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
