He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayden Keith and Eleanor Friot Fassett. He is survived by: his spouse Melia June Greene Fassett; his children, Steven Fassett, Jr. (Deena) of Honea Path, Stephanie Fassett of Belton, Nicholas Fassett (Jessica) of Honea Path and Tyler Fassett (Tasha) of West Pelzer; his stepson Wyman Allen of Pickens; his siblings, Patricia Chowning of Belton, Carol Perry (Oliver) of New Mexico, Joann Kirwan of Belton and Frank Fassett of Gilbert; and his close friend Mary Ashley. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, it is suggested that masks be worn and social distancing observed.
