It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Umbaugh of Pelzer, South Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Umbaugh to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Joyce Chandler Umbaugh; his parents, Samuel Alfred and Violet Kane Umbaugh; his sons, Ricky Lee Umbaugh and Robby Dean Umbaugh; and his brothers, Theodore Umbaugh and Leroy Umbaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Gene Umbaugh (Elaine) of Middleburg, FL, Kelly Susan North (Stan) of Taylors and Rodney Scott "Dutch" Umbaugh (Natasha) of North Charleston; and his siblings, Allen Umbaugh of Avonmore, PA and Doris Bassett of Cabot, PA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Augusta Road United Methodist Church (8324 Augusta Rd, Pelzer, SC 29669). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
