He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Elizabeth Norton Cason; and his parents, Rev. R. E. Cason and Lila Bell Cooper Cason. He is survived by: his sisters, Jean Chapman of Pelzer and Mollie Kenyon of Anderson; and his nieces and nephews, Floy Anderson (Chuck) of Anderson, Karla Fernandez (José) of Anderson, Phil Chapman (Melinda) of Honea Path, Mark Chapman (Holly) of Williamston and Scott Chapman (Rhonda) of Piedmont.
