We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2022, at the age of 90, Phyllis Jean Payton Jones (Pelzer, South Carolina), born in Merced, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, R. V. Stafford and Arloene Stafford; and her sister June Norris. She is survived by: her children, Robert Payton (Sue), Paula Payton Brock, Patty Katashima (Tom), James Payton, Denise Woods (Ed), Kelley Bose (Keith), Shannon Jones and Autumn Rich (Pete); and her brother Bud Stafford.

Memorials may be made to Lickville Presbyterian Church which will be donated in her memory to Samaritan's Purse Ukraine Relief.
