He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Jean Kerr Grant; his mother Ruth Ann Grant Etris; his grandfather James; and his brothers, Bruce and Joe Etris.
He is survived by: his children, Tommie R. "Tommy" Grant, Jr. (Gina) of Williamston, Debbie Smith Howell of Six Mile and Kristie Chappell of Williamston; his siblings, Lee Etris of Yosemite, KY, O'dell Etris of Greenville, Carol Blakley of Greenville and Linda Etris Bentley of Greenville; and his aunt Lois Edens of West Pelzer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
