He was predeceased by: his parents, Kennis Debrias and Birdie Pack Stanton. He is survived by: his spouse Shelby Martin Stanton; his daughters, Becky Frasier (John) of Pelzer and Jeannie Ogburn (Scott) of Pelzer; his siblings, P. D. Stanton of Seneca and Connie Stanton; his grandchildren, Emma Stoffel (Austin), Abby and Martin Ogburn; and his friend Carl "Meatball" Rogers of Williamston.
