With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Mitchell (Pelzer, South Carolina), born in Williamston, South Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marshall Edward Mitchell; her parents, Vernon Lewis Rainey and Louise Davis McGraw; her daughter Sharon Elaine Barnett; her great grandchild Clay Bridges; and her stepmother Phedonia Rainey.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon of Williamston, Michael Mitchell of Williamston, Rickey Mitchell of Centerville and Crystal Whitman (Mark) of Pendleton; and her son-in-law John Barnett of Piedmont. She is also survived by three sisters; ten grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
