It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Garner of Pelzer, South Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Clyde Garner; her parents, Claude Obediah and Lula Mae Smith Brooks; her children, Brenda Martin and Larry "Mike" Michael Garner; her granddaughter Gena Brook Callaham; and her siblings, Sadie Crawford, Marie Sweet, Violet Seeley, Sandra Cooley, Clarence, Charles and David Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle McQuiddy, Gloria Callaham (Eddie) and Bryan Garner; and her siblings, Wanda Vest, Frances Staton and Tom Brooks. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gray Mortuary Chapel (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669).
