She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice "Smoky" Burgess; her parents, Thomas Clarence and Elvie Maggie Rowland Fricks; and her siblings, Bobby Ray Fricks, Clarence Carroll Fricks and Velma Iola Bruce.
She is survived by: her son Raymond Monroe "Monty" Lockaby, Jr. (Rhonda) of Piedmont; her siblings, Jayne Fricks Marsh of Spartanburg and Don Fricks (Mary) of Bowling Green, KY; her granddaughters, Hannah Heath (Dylan) and Brianna Lockaby; and her great grandchild Addison Kate "Addi" Heath. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
