She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert James and Rilla McCrary James; and her siblings, Edith Toney, Mary James, Judy James and Albert James, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Johnny Hannah of Anderson, SC; her children, David Gilbert of Pelzer, SC, Roxanne Crump of Anderson, SC and Barbara Cheek (David) of Williamston, SC; and her siblings, Nathan James of Anderson, SC, Ann Smith of Starr, SC and Clara Higginbotham of Anderson, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
