He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela Owens Allen; his parents, James Allen and Mammie Lois McKee Allen; his son Richard Blake Allen; and his sisters, Frances Moss and Hazel Ridgeway.
He is survived by: his daughter Tiffany Allen of Easley; his brother Bill Allen of Williamston; and his grandsons, Ethan and Caleb Godfrey.
