We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2022, at the age of 95, Louise Ellenburg (Pelzer, South Carolina), born in Pickens, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. James E. "Shadow" Ellenburg; her parents, Richard J. Hobson and Zoa Beatrice Trotter Hayes; her daughters, Linda Ellenburg Chapman and Gena Marie Ellenburg Trask; her siblings, Mary Hayes Gilstrap and Dean Hayes; and her grandson Sean Ellenburg.

She is survived by: her sons, James Richard "Dick" Ellenburg (Carolyn Hudson) of Seneca and Thomas Eugene Ellenburg (Jane Washington) of Easley; and her grandchildren, Kristen Chapman, Michael Chapman, Christopher Ellenburg, Jennifer Ellenburg, Lani Trask Buckley, Benjamin Hayes Ellenburg and Rachel Ellenburg McDowell. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
