She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ramsey and Annie Bell Davis McCuen; and her siblings, Charles McCuen, Edna Coker, Lois Gilliam, Hazel Bryant, Sara Vaughn, Rachel Woodson, Diane Stewart and Kathy Nabors.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Andrew Tompkins; her children, Stacy Darby of Pelzer, Shannon Tompkins (Robyn) of Pelzer and B. J. Tompkins (Tori) of Williamston; her sisters, Mary Hudson of Anderson and Sherron Brooks of White Plains; her grandchildren, Jennifer Darby, Jillana Darby, Jessica Tompkins, Breannah Barnes (Cory) and Braydan Tompkins; and her great grandchildren, Lathan, Chase, Harley Cummings, Oakley-Grae, Rawlings Barnes, Burkley, Gunnar Millholland and Emmelyn Linic.
Linda was a continual donor to St. Jude's so if you would like, the grandchildren request that you donate to the charity that was so close to her heart. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
