It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leta Harkness Sutherland (Pelzer, South Carolina), born in Prescott, Kansas, who passed away on September 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Lee Sutherland; her parents, Byron Harkness and Nellie May Pruitt Harkness; her daughter Marilyn Eshelman; and her siblings, Lee Harkness, Halsey Harkness, Bonnie White and Thelma Harkness.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Sutherland (Wendy), Dan Sutherland (Sue) and Tim Sutherland. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
