He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Sr. Smith and Martha Gray Smith of Georgia; and his siblings, L. Sylane Smith of Upper Marlboro, MD, Georgia Santos of Branford, CT, Maude, Dwight Smith of Philadelphia, PA, Troy Smith of Pelzer, SC, Clyde Smith of Pelzer, SC and Rev. J. W. Johnson (Ernestine) of Pelzer, SC. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
