It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Whitlock of Pelzer, South Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Joe Whitlock to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Woodford and Dora Rainey Whitlock; his daughter Tammy Young; his grandson Douglas Brooks; and his siblings, Roy, Charles and Frances Whitlock.
He is survived by: his close friend Bonnie Garrett; his children, Jolynn Shockley (Ron) of Liberty, Chris Owens (Johnny) of Belton and Tony Whitlock (Cindy) of Iva; and his siblings, Carroll Lee Whitlock and Rachel Hood of Piedmont. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn, and social distancing observed.
