It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Campbell of Pelzer, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur Campbell, Sr. and Mary Emma King Campbell; his son Delmas Campbell; his granddaughter Nakatia Fletcher; and his siblings, William Arthur Campbell, Jr., Falconer Marion Campbell, Paul E. Campbell, Beaufort Bridges, Katherine Hart, Nancy Freeman, Bessie Ruth Holliday, Barbara Campbell and Nell Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jacquelyn "Jackie" Page Campbell; his son Joseph Furman Campbell (Lynda) of Pelzer; his sister Johnnie Lowry of Williamston; and his grandchildren, Michael Campbell (Tracie) of Williamston, Noah Campbell (Madison) of Belton, Kate Elliott (Michael) of Taylors, Jackie Biggs (Jason) of Belton and Bethany Spencer of Cullowee, NC. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
