She was predeceased by: her husband James Edwin "Shirt" Thomason, Sr.; her parents, Joe Aaron and Olivia Love Smith Glasby; her son Rusty Thomason; and her sister Shelby Glasby.
She is survived by: her children, James "Jimmy" Thomason, Jr. of Williamston, Lee Kral of Taylors and Bennie Hyder of Pelzer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
