He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maurice Berry, Sr. and Lonie Eskew Berry. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Katherine Bodie Berry; his children, James Michael "Mike" Berry (Debbie) and Debra "Kay" Berry Patrick (Ray); his grandchildren, Michelle Berry Grachek (Brett), Michael Berry (Mindy), Mark Berry (Aly), Matthew Patrick (Kathryn) and Katie Patrick Howard (Chip); and his great grandchildren, Abby, Ava, Jackson Berry, Grant, Lauren Grachek, Graylin, Harper Berry, Sloane, Hudson Patrick and Ford Howard.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fork Shoals Baptist Church (110 Fork Shoals Church Rd, Pelzer, SC 29669). Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be directed to the Fork Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
