He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee and Eleanor Pauline Bynum McGuffin; his brothers, Gene and Jerry McGuffin; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Grant and Sharon McGuffin.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jean Burroughs McGuffin; his children, Michelle Peay (Larry Peay, Jr.), Richard (Jacie) and Matthew McGuffin; his grandchildren, Kristina Peay (Tyler Benoit), Carson, Autumn and Tommy McGuffin; and his sister Louise Grant. He is also survived by his wife of 51 years, his family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Gray Mortuary Chapel (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669).
