He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rufus Herring, Sr. and Juanita Walls Herring. He is survived by: his children, Jon Herring (Rena) of Easley, Kayla Herring Sims (Travis) of Fountain Inn and Jennifer Vinson (David) of Honea Path; his siblings, Judy Standfast (Joe) of DeLand, FL, Danny Herring (Tina) of Quitman, GA and Timothy Herring (Robin) of Daytona Beach, FL; and his grandchildren, Lyla, Shane Vinson, Alyssa, Anna and Addison Herring.
