She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Alexander Porter; her parents, John Roy and Viola Mae Christy Hoffman; and her siblings, Clarence, Ronnie Hoffman, Willene Garrett and Maybelle Strickland.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Porter Smith (Douglas) of Pelzer; her grandchildren, Regan Addison Ivey Gregory (Cooper Daniel Phillips) and Ashton Stutz of Pelzer; her siblings, Burton Hoffman of Easley, Roy Hoffman of Pelzer, Dolly Ford of Williamston and Connie Hoffman of Williamston; and her pet Trooper. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
