He was predeceased by: his spouse Jessie Ann Beasley Clardy; his parents, Aldine Butler "A. B." and Eula Endora Ellison Clardy; his siblings, Lola Mae Smith, Hazel Elrod, Edith Clardy, Pearl Smith, Ethel Dickerson, Bertha Sanders, Broadus, Leon and Furman Clardy; and his grandchild Lindsey Crawford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beckye Clardy, Sherry Crawford (Ronnie) of Williamston and Kathy Clardy Smith (Mike) of Williamston; his grandsons, Chad Crawford (Kim), Cody Crawford (Haley) and Mitch Smith; and his great grandchildren, Allie, Grayson, Harper, Finley Crawford and Brooks Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Plains Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1435 Easley Hwy., Pelzer, SC 29669.
