He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Jackson McConnell, Sr. and Violet Victoria Lee McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Daisy Lee Elrod McConnell; his daughters, Debra M. Hollingsworth of Williamston and Patricia L. McConnell of Williamston; his grandchildren, Rusty Hollingsworth (Stacy) and Chad Hollingsworth (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Katie, Cash, Caribeth Hollingsworth, Cole Watkins (Kaddie), Hunter Watkins (Hailey) and J. J. Smith (Angela); and his great great grandchildren, Brinley and Addy Watkins.
