With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Locke of Pelzer, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Eugene Locke; her parents, Nathaniel Christopher and Dicey Ferguson Knight; her daughter Peggy Evelyn Locke; and her brother Junior Knight.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Stacy Stokes (Rocky) of Pelzer and Jonathan Hughes of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Emily Hice Anthony (Alexander) of Williamston and Evelyn Marley Hice of West Pelzer; her son-in-law John Hughes; and her siblings, Betty Sue Dalrymple, Douglas Knight and Jean Walker.
