With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Hendricks (Pelzer, South Carolina), born in Six Mile, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Glenn Hendricks; her parents, Tillman Roland and Lucy Merck Chastain; her daughter Margaret Lewis; and her siblings, June Chastain, Ralph Chastain, Bob Chastain, Frances Buie, Sybil Yeary, Hazel Watson and Audrey Galbreth.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Watson of Pelzer, Kathy Hendricks of Belton, Pam Brown (David) of Port St and Buck Hendricks (Paula) of Simpsonville; her siblings, Joann Newton, Jean Turner of Easley and B. F. Chastain of Easley; and her grandchildren, Keith, Jackie, Chris, Allen, Eddie, Steve, Trevor, Parker and Ashley. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
