With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Simmons (Pelzer, South Carolina), born in Smithfield, West Virginia, who passed away on January 4, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Don Levi Skidmore and Goldie Phipps Skidmore Garland; her children, John E. Simmons (Renay J.) of Anchorage, AK, Donna Ann Simmons Bodenmiller (Tim Alan) of Berea, OH and Lisa Carol Simmons Pack (Kerry Manning) of Easley, SC; her half-sister Rose Marie Miller of Bridgeton, NJ; and her brothers, Don Burke Skidmore and Walter Phipps Skidmore. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
