He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bryan and Lena Cavanaugh Boroughs. He is survived by: his close friend Carol Scroggs; his daughter Tina Thrasher; and his brother Ray A. Boroughs (Susan). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Open Door Church, 102 Murphy Road, Belton, SC 29627.
