She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Allen Barnes; and her parents, Thomas Alexander Human, Jr. and Bertie Mae Ballenger Human. She is survived by: her children, Tina Mackey (Rick) and Todd Barnes (Rhonda) of Williamston; and her siblings, Bobbie Welborn of West Pelzer, Linda Guthrie of West Pelzer and Harry Human (Lynn) of Pelzer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, it is suggested that masks be worn and social distancing observed.
