She was predeceased by: her husband William Thomas Ford; her parents, Walter Junior and Louise Wright Alexander; her son Thomas Wayne Ford; and her siblings, Walter "Bill" Alexander, Jr., Ella Mae Case and Minnie Margaret Smith.

She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Renee Cordero of Duluth, GA; and her grandchild Alexis Michelle Cordero (Victor Veliz) of Arlington, VA..
