He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Roddy; his children, Tebble Anita Garrett and Charles Darby Garrett; his grandson Baby Garrett; and his brother Bobby Teegarden.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Faye Godfrey Garrett; his children, Daniel Garrett of Dacusville, Shannon Garrett of Pelzer and Lily Garrett; his sister Debbie Nelson of Greenville; his half-brothers, John and Billy Teegarden of Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Levi Garrett, Austin Garrett, Daisy Garrett, Anabel Keryan and Cooper McIntosh.
