He was predeceased by: his spouse Willie Lucille Crawford "Luci" Sargent; his parents, James Edward and Frances Cleo Baldwin Sargent; and his brother Billy Ray Sargent. He is survived by: his sons, Link Sargent (Janice) of Piedmont, Scott Sargent (Elisa) of Williamston and Eric Sargent (Jessica) of Honea Path; his grandchildren, Amber Sargent Sierra (Michael), Andrew, Cody Sargent, Sara Sargent Galloway (Greyson), Jeffrey Sargent (Kadie), Lee Sargent, Cara Sargent Thurston (Shad), Sommerly Sargent, Spencer Sargent and Nick Sargent; and his great grandchildren, Rory Beth, Eli, Rowyn Sierra, Lucy Galloway, Alex, Brady and Madeline Sargent.
