With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Davis (Pelzer, South Carolina), who passed away on November 3, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnett O'Brian and Nobia Ina Coker Plowden; and her brother James Plowden. She is survived by: her husband Howard Lee Davis, Sr.; her sons, Timmy and L. C. Welch of Florence; her stepchildren, Margie Bradley of Sumter, Michael Davis of Belton, Howard Davis, Jr. and Angel Davis of Sumter; and her siblings, Donna McClain of Kingstree, Judy Matthews of Florence, Billy Plowden of Columbia, Curtis Plowden of Lake City and David Plowden of Barrineau. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine-step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
