It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Rodney Waters Sr. (Pelzer, South Carolina), who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lewis and Annie Jeannette Kelly Waters; and his siblings, Judy Manley and Marvin "Red" Waters. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Anne Davis Waters; his children, Calvin R. Waters, Jr. (Nancy) of Easley, Susan Waters McAbee (Joe) of Piedmont and Beth Waters Watkins of Williamston; and his grandchildren, Calvin Rodney Waters, III, K. C. Watkins, Chuck Waters, James Watkins, Charlie Watkins and Bailee McAbee.
