We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2021, at the age of 74, Betty Crompton of Pelzer, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ellison Patterson and Jewell Patterson; her grandfather Noah Ellison; her brothers, Jim and Ronald Patterson; and her sister-in-law Linda Ellison.
She is survived by: her husband William Dewitt Crompton, Sr.; her children, Dewitt Crompton, Jr. (René) of Belton and Rhonda Elrod (Robert) of Anderson; her siblings, Jeanette Bruce (Tony) of Pelzer, Johnny Patterson (Barbara) of Pelzer, Ricky Patterson (Patsy) of Williamston and David Ellison of Greenville; her grandchildren, Whitney Glasby (John), Zackery Phillips (Chloe) and Makaila Phillips; and her great grandchild Winry Glasby.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn and social distancing observed.
