He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Jenkins, Jr. and Bonnie Morgan Jenkins Lindley; his stepfather Johnny Lindley; and his parents-in-law, David and Ann Johnson Madden.
He is survived by: his son Jon David Jenkins (Cassidy Cunningham) of Inman; his grandsons, Jon Walker and Jett David; his sisters, Diane Jenkins Fant (Reese) and Kathy Jenkins Barker (Dennis); his nieces and nephews, Greg, Mark Fant, Ray Barker, Leeann Fant, Kristi Coker, Denise Hemlinger, Nicole Skipper and Kim Middleton; his brother-in-law Jimmy Madden; his close friend René Hyatt (family: Kat Ray, Gary Lindberg, Jim Hedden); and his pets, Maggie and Rascal.
