She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Spearman and Ida Parker Spearman; her daughters, Tracy Kirby and Tabitha Blackstone; and her siblings, Maxine Blackstone, Charles and Billy Spearman.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Dale Turpin; her children, Deana Ann Blackstone (Eddie) of Williamston, Freda Hall (Randy) of Walhalla and Dino Turpin (Marie) of Walhalla; her son-in-law Michael Kirby; her granddaughter Samantha Kirby of Simpsonville; and her siblings, Dot Anders (Frank) of Lowndesville and Jack Spearman of West Pelzer. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
