It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amelia M. Cothran of Pelzer, South Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Andrew Cothran; her parents, Rufus Melton and Nellie Coriene Massey Melton; and her siblings, Verina Tollison, Allie Davis, Lutewyle Phillips, Lois Taylor, Nell Alverson, Florence Bell, Dean, John, Charles, Gene and Reece Melton.

She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Cothran Storer (Steve); her grandsons, Christopher Storer (Lindsay) of Greenwood and Stephen Storer (Brittany) of Pelzer; and her great grandchildren, Mia Storer and Wells Gunter.
