It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Varn (Pelion, South Carolina), born in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Lewis and Wesley Boozer; her husband David Varn, Sr.; and her daughter Mary Lou Varn Evans. She is survived by: her children, Patsy Beckham of Columbia, Cathy Skinner of Neeses, Chuck Varn of Pelion and Butch Varn of West Columbia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
