She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Waugh and Harold Waugh; her spouse Hoy Edgell; her siblings, Edna Clendenin, Pat Roos and Tommy; her grandchildren, Bobby McCutcheon and Misty Edgell; and her great grandchild Zyann Mayes.
She is survived by: her brothers, Frank and Lee Waugh; her children, Hoy Jr. (Darlene), Debra Hunt (Mike), Gary Edgell, Cherie Boyce (Don) and Jeff Edgell; and her grandchildren, Stacy Mayes, Donna Powell, Donald Boyce, Jr. (Deek), Jimmy Kirk, Kayla Hunt, Christina Edgell, Josh Edgell and Whitney Edgell. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Florence Baptist Church (1720 Windy Wood Rd, Pelion, SC 29123). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at the same location. She continued to watch the services online since the COVID pandemic.
