He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Goodwin and Mittie Argoe Goodwin; his wife Joyce Fredrick Goodwin; and his siblings, Charles, Donald Goodwin and Listina Goodwin.
He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Goodwin; his grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Gavan, Laurel, Sean Goodwin, Meranda Hook (Scott), Maegan Shedd (Josh) and Matthew Hook (Lyndsay); and his siblings, Harold Goodwin (Joanne), Catherine Hutto and Georgia Fogle. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
