With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johnny Lavern Woodruff Sr. of Pelion, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Woodruff, Sr. and Anniebelle Dehay Woodruff. He is survived by: his children, Faith A. Antley, Chrystal R. Taylor of Irmo, SC, Johnny L. Woodruff, Jr. and Lee Woodruff of Columbia, SC; his siblings, Beatrice Kemmerlin of Cope, SC, Brenda W. Amick (Tony) of Lexington, SC, Henry J. Woodruff, Sr. (Barbara) of Richland and James Larry Woodruff of Columbia, SC.; his grandchildren, Andrew Chauncey, Zackery Taylor, Alexis Duncan, Triston Woodruff, Allison Lyles and Layne Spencer; and his close friends, Johnny, Connie Campbell, Melinda and Roger Barns of Pelion. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
