He is survived by: his children, James "Jamie" Jackson and Jennie Peele; his grandchildren, Taylor Collier (Tristan), Madison Peele, Brayden Brewer and Ava-Grace Brewer; his brother James Edward "Eddie" Jackson; his nephew James Jackson Jr. (Kristen); and the mother of his children Sherrie Gossett.
